In May 2023, we embarked on our first holiday as a family of four, with our daughter just eight weeks old. We headed to Anglesey and enjoyed a wonderful week filled with sunshine, relaxation, and fun. The moment we arrived, we couldn’t help but notice campervans everywhere—families and couples embracing the freedom of their own homes on wheels. We felt a little envious, and that’s when an idea sparked: What if we got our own campervan and rented it out when we weren’t using it?
From that point on, everything moved quickly. We delved into research, crafted a business plan, and soon found ourselves at Voyager Camper Conversions, where we immediately fell in love with the first van we saw. Our 3-year-old took one look at the van and promptly named him Trevor (Trevor the Trafic). A few days later, we brought Trevor home, stocked up on every camping essential we could think of, and S & L Campers was born. The 'S' stands for Steph, the 'L' for Lee, and, coincidentally, they are also the initials of our children.
Since then, Trevor has become part of so many adventures, with dozens of families creating memories that will last a lifetime.
